Living in the Sunlight of His Love

Jude 21A
1. Building -we are laboring in the Scriptures
2. Praying -we are leaning on the Spirit
3. Keeping -we are living in the sunlight of His love

I. The Love = How Valuable -His love is:

A. Sovereign -God's love
B. Special- perfect love for privileged people
C. Steadfast (Jeremiah 31:3)
D. Sacrificial (I John 4:9-10)
E. Supernatural (Ephesians 3:18-19) -God's love is:

1. So wide we can never get around it
2. So long we can never get to the end of it
3. So deep we can never dig under it
4. So high we can never climb over it

II. The Logic = How Important -keeping yourselves

This is our responsibility -no one else can do it for you (II Peter 1: 10, Phillipians 2: 12)

Sin will rob you of your:

A. Status -character gone
B. Sanctity -holiness gone
C. Self-respect -gone

III. The Location = Our Great Advantage -In

Prodigal son could not experience father's love until he returned, yet the father still loved him while he was away

A. In His Love We Have Good Appetite (Matthew 5 :6)
B. In His Love We Have Good Attitude (proverbs 16:7)
C. In His Love We Have Good Affections (Colossians 3:2)
