PAUL DID IT !!! "WHEN I WAS A CHILD, I SPAKE AS
A CHILD, I UNDERSTOOD AS A CHILD, I THOUGHT AS
A CHILD: BUT WHEN I BECAME A MAN, I PUT AWAY CHILDISH THINGS." I COR.
13: 11 (A) Before Paul
discovered that he was a man, he first had to discover that he had been a child. "When I was a
child." (B)
Paul was convinced that there had been a change in his speech line.

Then for the disposal of his wares, for he knew for the sake of others he
must care. "I put away
childish things." PAUL REMEMBERED BACK FAR ENOUGH TO
HELP HIMSELF; BUT, DID HE REMEMBER BACK
FAR ENOUGH TO HELP US? A
BRIEF SURVEY: (1)
IN CONTENTMENT:
"Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever
state I am, therewith to be content." Phil., 4:11 (2)
IN PRESSING NEED: "I
press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ
Jesus." Phil., 3:14 (3)
IN EXPECTANCY: "Looking
for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our
Savior Jesus Christ." Tit., 2:13 (4)
IN CONCLUSION: "And
whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me." Mat.,
18:5 "When I was a child" It
would seem a change from childhood to adulthood and from
adulthood back again to childhood."
