"WHAT
IS A SPIRITUAL CHRISTIAN?"
TEXT: GALATIANS 6:1-6
INTRODUCTION:
Many people think that they are the judges as to what a Spiritual person is
in this life. Have you ever heard the statement, "They aren't
Spiritual."! Or maybe, "He sure is Spiritual." ! Well, the
BIBLE is our authority on any Spiritual Subject and we, in our own opinion
amount to nothing in the true LIGHT of the BIBLE. A SPIRITUAL CHRISTIAN:
I. HAS THE SPIRIT'S BIRTH JOHN 3:5-7
Many people can't act Spiritual because they have never been born of the
SPIRIT of GOD. They say, "I can't live it." and they are right,
because you have to have the "LIVER" in you and that is the HOLY
GHOST.
II. BELIEVES THE SPIRIT'S BOOK.
2Ti.3:16 & 17.
The SPIRIT of GOD is the one that inspired the BIBLE and so you can't be a
Spiritual person and deny the book of the SPIRIT.
III. OBEYS THE SPIRIT'S BESCEECHING.
Rom 12:1-2.
GOD isn't as interested in your possessions as HE is in you. If HE has you,
HE has all your possessions.
IV. WALKS IN THE SPIRIT'S BEHAVIOUR.
2 Cor.6:17
You are to behave according to what controls you, or rather (WHO). Out of
the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
V. EXPERIENCES THE SPIRIT'S BLESSINGS.
Galatians 5:22&23. You must be SPIRITUAL before you can be SPIRIT
FILLED. Don't get the cart before the horse and try to be a Spiritual Person.
You don't TRY to be, you just follow this formula and you will be.
